Morning all, reality check day post LeMans for me. Mostly admin, clear the inside of the Volvo and do an organised re-pack of essential tools, quick run to Ilford to put some stuff in the container and plan the rest of the week.
Ah yes, review photos and videos from the last week and delete the ones that could be incriminating!

Back at it. Having just arrived home late last night after a week in Le Mans to then be leaving again on Sunday for a week in Asia has, unsurprisingly, not gone down well.
Where flowers and perfume fail, this charm and winning smile fails even harder.

Good morning all, day off to spend at my leisure. Might eat something healthy and not drink. I expect to have some weird allergic reaction and have to take the rest of the week off. Till then Work is for tomorrow....

Where do you put this sh1t, had a wine or 2, my dad died this morning, service is next Thursday, we haven’t been close for 20 years, “ history” but, feels odd that the text I got from his deceased partners daughter was, Fred’s funeral has been arranged for , time, date etc, “should you wish to attend”....

Sad news Dave and that text... though texts are notorious for not being able to get tone across.
Another day WFH for me. Getting to grips with this latest project, just one component to get built and then its onto integration. I get so much more done at home, it doesn't help with knowledge transfer though.

If you need to talk pm me and we can exchange numbers etc or even visit. Look after yourself and family
Yesterday I started the hedge trimming for the year (hopefully)
Went well and completed 90% of it (no tidying up yet)
I had to stop as I encountered a Bee nest who where not best pleased at my proximity. I noticed though they seem to retire around 8pm so I may re attempt tomorrow night. They are nesting in the cavity wall of the living room, which is ok as they only stay a year and then move on.
So today (weather permitting) I will tidy up and do the bits I have missed and then go the Quiz for refreshments tonight.
I remember when I could do all the hedges and tidy up in the same day, well now it is going to take me a week and I have aches and pains too that I did not have before. God I hate this getting old malarky. That is all

Dave, I'm sorry to hear that. Strange circumstances, but still a loss. My condolences.
Morning, all. Working at home today because my first call was 8am and the last is 7.30pm, with no gap long enough to travel to and from work. At least the commute downstairs was easy and I don't have to impose my post-LM dishevelled 'tramp-chic' appearance on any colleagues. Or my post-LM blues. Lucky Mrs Crud!
