But but it's got Liz Hurley in it....just watch the end credits...Tried to rewatch Austin Powers, utter tripe!
Good call.....I guess later but various The Mummy films.
Just watched Hurricane about the Polish pilots who formed 303 Sqn. The film is quite faithful historically but the screenplay is weak.
There's a few stereotypical roles being played, upper English RAF officer, San Izal WAAF etc but its only 100mins long. No need to be any longer.
This!

A friend of mines Grandfather was one of the most decorated Polish Pilots of WW2. I never met him but my mate said they openly disobeyed orders just so they could kill the Germans regardless of potential loss of life to their squadrons.
He’s Jewish so you can kinda understand why.
Saw A Quiet Place II last night , the experience of the first film was repeated , people sucking popcorn because the silence makes it too noisy to eat it then stuffing their faces when the sound comes back on
£9.99 a month for an odeon membership until September , 3 month contract
Understandable , as there was a shortage of pilots why wouldn't you , what are they going to do about it
That scene in the Battle of Britain where the Polish squadron is on a training flight and one of them spots some Germans and one by one they all peel off until the British officer is forced to join in made me laugh because it's true
The most appalling aspect of the 'foreign' pilots treatment was after the war, they were given nothing, deported and virtually expunged. No pensions or anything like that. Many had no country to return to and nothing there if they made it home.
I am always happy to spot the Polish builder's vans in London with the wrap on the back doors with the 303 Squadron honours and achievements on it. A sobering reminder to many of the bigots and racists around.

There's a Polish supermarket in Warrington , reminds me of the way things used to be in the 70s , a proper delicatessen with a choice of 40 types of ham and cheese and things you'd never see in a UK supermarket , the problem is the labels are all polish so I have no idea what some of them are
I love Perogi, the Polish ones are like big Russian Pelmeni, just need smetana (sour cream) and away you go...Just try some
