ITV hub annoys me too much , it's not in HD and you have to watch the adverts...
How do you think it’s funded..?

Not seen a decent film for ages,
How do you think it’s funded..?
1st post , a decent film
Selling quality drama worldwide mostly i'd think, I doubt they generate anything like the revenue for advertising they used to when 15m viewers was the norm
I never watch live TV , always start watching the recording 20 mins in then FF through them, I might suffer it if it was in HD but it's not so **** them and their adverts
Spoken like a shareholder
Fortunately technology means I don't have to suffer adverts so where possible I avoid them
I actually miss blockbusters , I used to like calling in on the way home , 3 for £10 for 3 nights

You and me both! Not so much having to rewind them because the last person who rented it didn't bother.
Hmm, I’ve never had the chance to watch the Dennis Potter stuff, thanks for the tip. Also tvchaos.com is a gold mine for UK telly, new and old, some right memories on there. It's just been rebuilt and they say they're open to new subscibers. It's torrents tho, you have to seed back or you're booted off.
Downloaded that on sky plus to watch whilst here in Cyprus - only to get “enter sky password” FFS - I can’t make it work!Watched all 5 episodes of Chernobyl in one go on a plane last week. Fantastic and illuminating - no pun intended
