Folks, when i turn the A/C on, it lights on the dash. The manual claims something with the A/C is wrong. But the A/C works fine.

Italian character.

Mine does this if I move it from the cold garage to a warm street on a hot day. There are a number of causes varying in severity but so far, as mine has kept on working fine and has only done it periodically, I've left it. Car is going for a SD reading later in the week so I'll see if there are any useful error codes.

Don't have mine anymore but there are two buttons (a/c recirculate and another) that you press together and hold and the E is replaced by an error code. Mine was just a loose connection for the outside temperature sensor.

Usually in E mode, the a/c works fine in manual but the fan speed will not go past the first stage in auto.

At the service they told me that it is the air temperature sensor that is located under the left mirror. Any thoughts on this?

Your dealer needs to take the door card off and have a look. The parts are cheap but there might be a couple of hours labour. Personally I would do it as I like to know the temperature and the a/c did not work properly on mine until it was fixed.
