The Dog Thread

My dogs are part of the family and are cared for as such.

I spent last night sleeping on the living room floor and on the hard floor in the hallway as one of mine wasn’t well (in between taking him out into the garden to relieve his diarrhoea)

The only time I’ve cried in my adult life was when I lost my previous dog, to the point my daughters said with surprise “I didn’t know grown men could cry”.

That said, I’m not going to sit in the pub saying “coochie coo coo” to them. (We have adult conversations )

I have kids and no emotional issues. I don’t think.

My dogs are just dogs and treated as such.

No furniture, no upstairs, sleep in the crate in the dog bed, no jumping up at people.

I do take them to the pub as they are better company that the GF and most of the people who come into the pub...ie they let me have a quiet drink with no nagging/whitttering/drivel etc.

They are however a bit of a babe magnet and are great at attracting the girls to come over and say hi.

Yeah our two are exactly the same but I do enjoy having them around Chris.

If I've been a good boy, I am allowed to share the couch (that I paid for) with them to watch the F1 for a couple of hours........Gosh, I'm so lucky to have them!

Between the two of them they have averaged Between 8 and 10 a day. And they had all the pear whilst we were in Europe.

I believe the pips contain cyanide, so aren’t good for dogs. Or I presume anyone else. I cut the apples up for my two and keep the cyanide for the wife.

They do but in vanishingly small amounts. I don't think either the dogs, or your wife are in immediate danger
