We have a spawn of satan thread so best have a dog thread for balance.

Dino was injured earlier this week after being hit by a van, just bruises and a few cuts but he has his elder brother Bentley to care for him.

This is my old boy Freddy the Border Terrier, he will be 14 in June and has Cushings Disease the medicine for which costs a bloody fortune - I could easily afford to run another Maserati for what it costs !

Took the youngest to visit my Mum in her care-home at the weekend.

Great little dog this one, performed like a PAT dog and was smothered by the old dears.

This is Willis. Got him this time last year as a pup and now 14 months old. It’s been hard work but he’s turned into a cracking dog.

These are the boys under normal circumstances, Bentley & Dino.

Bentley is a 13 year old Springer / Lab cross (white flash on his chest) who is as laid back as anything could be, Dino is a 3 year old pure bred Lab from a family of Irish working dogs to say he's mad would be the under statement of the year.

This is Buddy & Max. Buddy is 6, typical Golden Retriever, totally chilled out. Max is 4 and totally not typical of the breed. Think he was dropped on his head as a pup. A lot.

Cosette was rescued from some chappy Irish breader who were starving her and the rest of the little to keep them small due to being unsold. Their MO is to do this and not care if they die.

Are breeders licensed? Or regulated in anyway? I hear that the kennel club are just a joke organisation these days.

They should be, but sadly in very rural areas there is no way to know who is doing what in an old stable.

That's why the charity I do the odd day volunteering for collects c100/150 dogs per visit to Ireland and rural Wales.

We got Bit from a family who didn't realize the breed of pup they'd bought...as soon as we brought Bit home, ReRe (Aretha) adopted her and they were inseparable until the end...
