The photo of them putting the metro in is just about from the period I started working as a Civil Engineer. How things have changed, no gloves, no safety glasses, no hi viz, no banksman. I can’t walk on to site anymore without a 2 hour briefing of the dangers of getting Weil’s disease or tripping over a rail.
