I was wondering if anyone has any more info on the central "Check 39" computer - part 313620107. It connects all instrumentation and sensors outside the ECU stuff to a single place - quite advanced thing for the period.
I'm now doing electrics work, and one issue I found was that some previous owned had rewired the alternator wrong, it should connect to "Check 39" box as well. It might be the actual root cause of my alternator issues, as I took the alternator to testing at it was 100% functional.
I'd appreciate any info, internal photos, schemas etc at this point. What I'm wondering is that if its broken, are the units over the years interchangeable? Or, is there a ROM chip I could swap?
