I grew up in car showrooms in the 80s so this little lot almost made me **** myself.

Dammit I was about to post this lol

Very good vid I miss Chris Harris' YouTube content. He acts more natural than the character they make him play on top gear... Proper enthusiast

I think his YouTube stuff is great too. As you say proper enthusiast, knowledgable and never does the over excited look at what I’ve got/about to buy/my mate has got stuff of other YouTubers. A Professional. I’ve not found an equivalent on YouTube yet.

This is the first of his YouTube vids I watched. Was incredible to see someone drive these two machines in such a way

A Stevens Esprit Turbo was my dream car as a kid. Drive one 2 years ago and was really disappointed, clutch was ridiculous and gearchange terrible.

They are old tech now.....I had a G plate Esprit turbo and yes the clutch was heavy. Had it in 1995 and used it everyday for two years and all the better for it. Sold it with 105k on the clock and never let me down once.

I drive old tech a lot and race properly old things so it’s not that. Weird thing is I don’t get on with Lotus race cars either. I love the idea of them but just can’t drive them. Maybe it’s the same thing.

i've seen a few of these and it's just gobsmacking what these guys do with no machinery or proper tools, "all the gear and no idea" springs to mind with some trades we have out here
