Just fitted Larini sports cats and X pipe, and it does not sound too different to that. Holding off on the modified rear boxes, as that maybe a little too asbo.

Quite a bit of interest so quickly as I only listed last night which is all good. A couple from the forum and a couple of guys from eBay who want to come and view over next few days.

Best I get cleaning, claying, polishing and waxing then!

I've never been accused of being a dawdler. I was going to say fast and hard but that is not actually me and it sounds quite wrong!

Never say never but it is going to lovely chap. He is knowledgeable and passionate about cars and I expect he will have it some time. He is handy with a spanner and can improve the car over time.

It does sound lovely. Just really rams home how undervalued and understated the 4200 is. For no real good reason IMHO. Why it is so over looked and misunderstood by many I'll never know. The 4200 is the car bargain of the century IMHO.

All paid for and collected tonight.

Lovely gent and I'm sure he will be on here soon. Good luck with her Oliver and I hope she looks after you and your back pocket.

Was lovely to hear it purr off down the lane......what a noise

Had lovely summer evening drive back to Oxford. As you all know Dean is a great guy and it was pleasure getting the car. Yes not a car for sneaking up quietly on others. :):)

Already out and about in it this morning.

The pleasure was all mine. I hope you can enjoy fixing many if not all the little issues over time.

I'm not sure about the great guy bit but I try my best to be decent and amiable.

I think I will be modifying my 4200 to sound a bit more like yours now. Although a valved option might be nice

Valved would be way to go. Would also mean I could use the car early in the morning without waking up my neighbours. Also, as is said in the home audio circles - valved would have a higher WAF. My wife was moderately embarrassed this morning dropping her and my daughter off to music classes.

Would be good to tone down the noise and cracks that come with overrun in town, on the open road it is just right.

There a few things to look at over the next weeks - but at the moment I'll just let my inner child roam free and enjoy the car for the summer.
