Got the crank position sensor to swap out as well - all part of the continual list

So should it be at about 90 driving around up to temp?

Oil pressure seems a little low. I thought 2.5 on tickover when warm.
Mine was always around 80 temp wise when hot. Never seemed to be an issue.

The oil pressure is as high as any I have seen while hot. Does seem to be a sticky thermostat as mine rarely went above 90, so probably stuck somewhere in the middle.

I have this exact same issue on my 04 Spyder. Not getting up to temp and a hot start issue. I am also planning on changing the thermostat was have read up that this can be the cause. Just waiting on a new thermostat from Eurospares as we speak.

I’ve resigned to change anything that is just about possible to do if in any question… that way i should fix a few things along the way.

Just changed mine today and car now comes up to temp (90) and sits there perfectly. Time will tell intermittent hot start issue is cured. Fingers crossed.

Did it?
Will take a while to tell if like mine as it just waits until you forget about the problem… or if youre in a rush!

Low pressure on tickover… if thats an issue what is the likely cause/fix? Engine has been running fine for the last 9 months

Just thought I’d post an update to say that I have still not experienced any hot start issues since I changed the thermostat over on the 4th April. I have been using the car every day since as she is my daily driver. Time will tell, but so far so good

That's what I'm seeing on mine from my very limited experience.

You will see it lower, the idle oil pressure is very much related to oil temperature and condition as well as the outside temp. The manual says:

Which roughly translates to “if you have been ragging it, the oil gets thin and you might see lower pressure”.

Mine sat at 5 during the drive home (most of the time), lowest 2.5. Started her up the other day, temp showed 90 and 2.5 bar when warm, but when I was driving, temp showed around 75.

Not driven it since my drive home from collecting her, as I've not had chance and the weather has been so poor.
