That's detuned too, more to give apparently! When I spoke to the guys at Storm they were trying to get a V8 up to the magic 800BHP but cooling was an issue.

It's crazy fun, especially with the meth injection!

Why, at 28000 miles, put in advert that it is the original engine. Why would anyone think otherwise. I smell a rat just there.

Because it's got an (aftermarket?) super charger and methanol injection. Kind of thing that people do if they've detonated the original engine.

As catman has said, highly fettled with engine. Nearly double the BHP the standard car has.

Correct on all fronts! I didn’t ask for the specific reasons as it wasn’t my car they’re struggling on.
700BHP is more than enough for the R8.

I‘m trying to get the water /meth fitted ASAP. He’s looking for an extra 40+ bhp but the cooling it’s the main reason for fitting it. The current Snow kits are showing up to a 70* drop in intake temp so it should increase reliability as well as give more power. I might have a look into waterless coolant as well as that runs cooler than normal coolant.
