Suggestions for parts to replace when front bumper is off.

I have a cracked aircon pipe (part 66765800 or 66063200). Its the pipe from filter to union.
I need to have the front bumper to come off in order to replace that one I believe. I was wondering if there any other obvious things I could replace while the bumper is off?
For example, my thermostat is something I will replace. My car is sometimes reaching 95 when driving slow. and 75 when driving on the highway.

Whip the air filter box out and strap a nice big K&N on the back of the headlight on a straight pipe and save about 5kg plus free up some horses...

In all seriousness whilst you are in there, consider how much crud falls out from between the aircon cooler and the radiator and look in detail at the radiator as they corrode with all the damp detritus that stick in there. I'd consider putting a new rad and hoses on. especially if the car has lived outside for any of its life.

Power steering cooler is one I would do. And buy from Marios for 1/10 of OEM price.

Thanks. I will have a look at the radiator. Good point. K&N filter would be nice as well :) are there any kits out there?

I did it on my 4200 but not yet on the GS but will do soon. I can ping you details, it massively improves the induction noise and response as you are removing some serious restrictions put in by Ferrari! mostly though you are pulling the air in from a much better place than the bottom of the bumper! Ask any of the veterans of the Centenary run to Modena how good it sounded on the track :D full chat it was howling louder coming toward people than going away...

Sounds interesting Spàrts, will do, I think it is only double on a GS with either a custom Rad or sacrificing the cowling from grill to rad! I will find a workable route somehow.
