Yesterday i got my new daily hack and couldn't be happier! Found it on ebay Sunday evening, dropped a cheeky bid not expecting to win the auction, however, by midnight I had a message saying I'd won it!

I chose this car because so many people I've chatted to swear by them and now i see why. It's tough as old boot!

Got the car last night and for what i paid it's simply fantastic! Full of features, very good condition all round, genuine decent honest car with full service and best of all it has LPG! Now all i need is a new shotgun and I'm ready for a bit of winter pheasant shooting!

Plan now is to get the brunt of the winter out the way whilst finding the right Maserati 4200gt and I'll be a super happy.

Good choice. Subaru is much more popular in Oz than the UK, they enjoy a good reputation there for build quality and reliability.

Excellent choice. A set of winter tyres now and it'll go anywhere.

Do you mind giving a ballpark on age and price?

I've covered a few hundred miles effortlessly now, great motorway cruiser and its working out equivalent to 50mpg with the lpg.

It's a w reg 115k miles, very good condition all round, full service... All for £1300.

I bought it mainly as winter is here and I needed a cheap Eco runaround. Between this and a nicer Maser I should have all bases covered.

Problem is I've been looking at 2" suspension lift kits and all terrain tyres! :)

well, after 2 weeks of ownership and heaps of town and motorway miles, it hasn't missed a beat.

Always a risk buying a car on ebay without seeing it first... i took the risk and got it cheap as the seller posted rubbish pictures and a very limited description. I recommend them if you want a tank to beat around in :)
