I thought Queen of Speed was interesting too. Thing that stuck me was Ari basically said he must have been sexist dick back then but Rohrl’s view was basically unchanged. Never realised her Dad had died on the evening of the Ivory Coast Rally either.

Watched "Queen of Speed" on sky yesterday and a few things come to mind, firstly those days of WRC were just the best but how bonkers were the crowds, secondly forgot how aged looking (in an 80s way) both Michelle Mouton and Fabrizia Pons were, thirdly how both of them have aged well and still good looking and finally how much able **** there was in those days Vatanen and Rohrl could face being beaten by a woman and the Americans at Peaks Pike did everything to save their pride by penalising her when ever they could but no avail.

Also didn't realise she is the only woman to have ever won a WRC rally or that she is the only woman to win Peaks Pike - how than be the case that in nearly 40 years no woman has repeated either.

Well worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet

A true legend in the sport and just read she is stepping down from role as president of FIA women in motorsport commission after 12 months

Spot on, some leopards try to change their spots others can't be arsed - must admit never been a Rorl fan stunning driver, he had super fast feet (plenty of youtube footage of his heel and toe technique), but very opinionated.

Never realised her Dad had died on the evening of the Ivory Coast Rally either.

The fact that she could even drive in that event never mind get over an hour ahead for a precautionary gearbox change (normal 20 mins) to steal all her lead and force her to have to push to catch up which was when she crashed. Other than that she would have been world champion, so close

Just finished the whole Star Trek: Enterprise series. I only caught the odd episode when it was on the air 15 years ago or so, just to admire T'pol.
There's 4 series in total or 97 episodes. The first two, establish the main characters, technologies and some repeating Alien characters. The best series is the third one, where earth is attacked by the Xindi, a group of 5 species from a remote part of space. There's a constant thread through that series where the others could be standalone episodes. The 4th one is pretty much run of the mill stuff too and shows the establishment of the federation of planets which would the continue onto the Original Series. (That's the one with Captain Kirk and Spock) and the the ever so PC next generation (The one with Captain Picard which I gave up on as it was so sanctimonious!)

I'm now moving through the Norsemen a comedy series about Vikings. It's quite funny.

BBC4's re-run of Yes Minister's The Party last night - so current! (But avoid drinking at the same time) - Tho' surprised they are allowed to show it with all this definition of 'comedy' rubbish

Gomorrah series 5 is now out. Watched the first episode... as good and gritty as ever

I've just bought the boxset with S1, 2 & 3, looking forward to getting stuck in, I'm off work with a cracked rib so a bit of binge watching will probably ensue.

On Christmas Eve, we got to the end of Money Heist on Netflix. If you love/miss Spain, it’s ace. Slightly camp, but full of twisty turny stuff with great characters.

We’re now hooked on Dopesick on Disney+. Finding it hard to taper off. Michael Keaton is exceptional and it’s got Loretta from Justified.

Both great series, but having reached day 8 of self isolation, I’m wishing I was back at work.

Have you watched the incompetent burglars yet , one scene made me laugh that much I was choking , if you've watched it you'll know what I mean , if not I won't spoil it.

I watched the one in the wardrobe years back. Sardines probably. That was enough

Not yet, my brother pointed me to the backwards one, so my mum and I watched the first one, sardines. I'll get through them over the winter, 2down 34 to go...

Just watched 'Don't look Up' on Netflix.
Very good film, if is wasn't for America's current polarisation, celebrity obsession or poor educational system it would be very funny indeed. However, it's quite scary.

They need a 'reset' *
