Started "it's A Sin' on C4.I get it, it's about the AIDS crisis in the 80's but why they have to be so extreme I don't know.

There's a lot to be said for the old 'Ealing' way of the scene fading to black and then reopening on the breakfast table. Not very informative, but much less embarrassing. Especially if you happened to be watching TV with your parents

A Ghost Waits. Low budget, black and white, about this bloke who fixes up houses after the tenants have left. Anyway this house is haunted by a 200 year old former female singer and he’s into music, and totally not scared by her and they start to form a friendship. That’s not all but the the acting is decent, plot holes abound but it’s different and captivating to watch.

Try it. It’s better than 99% of the Shiite that’s out there…

Caught up with Great Railways Journeys (or something like) which we recorded Ch5 on Thursday night - featured Bavarian Alps which have been on an autumn travel to wish list for the past two years (couldn't go year 1 as car was sick, and last year - covid). It's now definitely on the wish list, especially with an excellent monestry/brewery in Ettal
