Rise of the Foot Soldier on Amazon if you like true stories about 80s football hooliganism and Essex gangsters.

A nice little 'feel good' film and believe me we need a laugh right now is an Italian film based on a true story. Rose Island on Netflix.
I kept this quiet but I make an appearance just over the hour mark. 1:05-1:07 to be precise.

we just watched it on your recommendation and what a wonderful film, thanks for posting

"Bartelby" the 1970 version, captivating. From the novel "Bartelby: The Scrivenor" by Herman Norman I think.

Weird film but strangely watchable......

The Stranger on Netflix

What a pile of shite , if it'd been on BBC they'd have wrapped it up in 3 episodes

We kept watching it hoping it'd get better , it didn't

Avoid

Dead Man’s Shoes (2004) on All4 - Brit film making at its best. Not an easy watch, but one you’ll never forget.

King of Thieves (2018) on Amazon Prime - Hatton Garden robbery film with an old school cast. Better than expected.

King of Thieves was good. Also give something of the lie to the glamour of criminality.

Lupin on Netflix is ace as mentioned above and in French with subtitles it helps the boys’ French. Great to see another classic from the QPV GTS driving Omar Sy. He’s a proper star.
