Think I mentioned this before - 'Her Name Was Christa', cracking twist but I saw it coming. It's a bit gruesome (well, a lot, but disturbing if I'm honest) but I thought very thought provoking.

Also a film from a while back with a twist at the end I didn't see coming even though all the clues were there - 'Rudderless'

I've changed my netfix to USA but I've found something really annoying , they don't like subtitles so everything foreign language is dubbed into American English
Started watching To The Lake, I lasted 5 minutes , if I can't turn it back to original language with subtitles ill have to go back to UK Netflix , it's awful

Just watched 3 hours of 'Navy Seals' - Series 3. Series 1 and 2 are on Amazon Prime and its excellent stuff. If you like this kind of stuff (special operations) it's one of the best series around just now.

I hadn't realised that the UK have a joint intelligence gathering / listening centre with the US intelligence services based at RAF Menwith Hill, near Harrogate. One of only 3 intelligence gathering centres in the Western world.
The first time I drove past that place was about 20-25 years ago
I had no idea it was there but being Britain it's not very area 51 , you can see it from the main road , it was a proper WTF is that when I saw huge golf balls and satellite dishes on the horizon

If you haven't seen it Official Secrets is a very good film

I agree..just watched it this weekend. Keira Knightley plays her part really well. Well worth checking out.

I know it's a 35 year old repeat - but Yes Prime Minister on BBC 4(?) last night - seems nothing's really changed. And Frederick Treves who played the General in episode 1 was my next door neighbor when I lived in Wimbledon

Try the new series on Netflix called 'Pine Gap'..its all secret squirrel stuff. A gripping series. By the way thanks to the ' Pine Hill' series, I hadn't realised that the UK have a joint intelligence gathering / listening centre with the US intelligence services based at RAF Menwith Hill, near Harrogate. One of only 3 intelligence gathering centres in the Western world.
If you like the series ' Homeland' then you will really like this.
Watching this but the toyah wilcox lookalike is putting me off , I keep expecting her to burst into song

Just watched Dark Water on Amazon Prime. Great film based on the true story of Dupont poisoning people in West Virginia with the chemical C8 used in Teflon. Lot of stuff I didn't know and I'm sure is very true to our modern chemical world today.

Definitely worth a watch IMHO.

Watching UFO on britbox

You know when a modern Sci-fi show finishes it takes 5 minutes for the credits to roll past because there's 60 people in each department

Not on UFO

Derek pulls the strings and Bob tells him when 78337

Thats why I watch foreign language stuff , you can't just pick your phone up and have 5 minutes on a forum or you've got no idea what's going on.

unhinged, russell crowe playing a complete nut case road rager, put on fair bit of weight as well, certainly make you think about honking your horn too aggressively again, reminded me of the 70's movie Duel which was a great movie

Watching it now - reminds me more of 'Falling Down' and yes, Russell Crowe is enormous!

I was driving back from Edinburgh in a transit van on the A702 about 25 years ago before artics were speed limited , I was doing 60-70mph with a nutter in an artic right up my arsenal

After about 10 miles I pulled over and let him go before he killed me

Once on the M74 going down a big hill doing 70 I had an Irish scania come past me touching 100mph , I also had the **** scared out of me by some **** in a tornado fly straight over the top of me doing 600mph , I thought the funking engine had exploded
