Hi All,
I have had an issue since getting the car 10 years ago with just the odd bleep for no apparent reason at all.
drive.google.com
In 2023 I took it out and it was continual, I have attached a link to the bleeping, now because of this I didn't drive the car very much, in fact about 150 miles from MOT to MOT. I was encouraged to give the car a very good charge as potentially The SuperCarRooms thought it was a battery issue from not being driven, despite it always being on a trickle charge.
In additional, I kept getting an intermittent green dash appear instead of the Green D or Manual gear indication, as per the image below and after a short period it returns to normal: -
drive.google.com

Well the car had to go down to them as I hit a pothole and it caused the power steering hose to split, Maserati wanted £3500 for a new unit, when it was just the **** hose, anyway sorted with a custom made replacement hose for £350, whilst it was with them, I stressed to them to get to the bottom of a number of problems: -
1. Fix Power Steering Hose
2. MOT Vehicle
3. Fix the bleeping
4. Fix the dash Error
5. Fix the Parking Sensors
When they took the car for an MOT it failed on a sticky parking Brake, intermittent fog light switch, cracked rear tyres, and whilst returning it from the MOT it split the coolant hose that went over the back of the gearbox!
Now bear in mind it was with the SuperCarRooms for 6 months, they had staffing issues and a short period at the beginning was because of arguments with the Insurance assessors as to what had caused the power steering hose to split.
They declared that the bleeping was because of a sticky passenger door lock and that they had lubed it and all was fine.
So upon picking the car up and on the short drive to GrayPaul in Solihull, everything seemed fine apart from the parking sensors which they were adamant was an electrical fault.
So after collecting it from GrayPaul, they confirmed that there was no electrical fault with the parking sensors, the issue was two parking sensors at the front which for the grand total of £950 they replaced and finally that issue is resolved.
GrayPaul did their routine check and declared that the Fog light switch was not working (Which the SuperCarRooms said they had fixed) and that for the grand price of £816 they could replace it, I have declined as I am sure I can find a secondhand switch!
As I was driving back from GrayPaul I was caught in traffic and the dash came up with the errors you see and I was able to video it whilst stationary and prior to this the bleeping was back!
I contacted the SuperCarRooms and to be truthful I think they wanted to wash their hands of the problems and recommended that I get in contact with Sam at Stradale Italia in Uttoxeter. Apparently Sam was the Head Mechanic at GrayPaul for 19 years and had left to start his own business: - https://www.stradaleitalia.co.uk/
I sent Sam the video and gave him a run down of the issues, he said that he recalls a vehicle having very similar problems some years before and it turned out to be the small Gearbox Wiring Harness that needed replacing. So for £245+Drat. I have now ordered the part and have asked Sam to fit it and check things through.
Sam was quite critical of Independent garages using cheaper and inferior diagnostic equipment and said that he would have been able to pickup all the errors with his equipment.
When I look back on the bleeping and display errors it had never displayed the red gearbox error light, otherwise I would have been able to explain it, however as the issue had slowly got worse I recall it happening mostly when I was using Manual Mode or Sports mode, which supports his thinking of the cable.
I am not sure why the EPB Off light has come on as The SuperCarRooms said they had stripped and lubed it up in order to pass the MOT, I will ask Sam to have a look when I take it over to him.
So once the new Harness arrives (Marked in red as 25) I shall take it over to Sam to fit and check everything else out.

Just thought it might be useful in case others get fobbed off with incorrect diagnostics.
