all the negatives waves, looks like a nice motor and in the best colour combo, lovely interior, i think a switched on buyer would ensure they cover all bases regarding warranty before considering purchase and who knows may take a beating on the final price, if you don't ask you don't get

I don't think it is negative, it is just a reminder to have eyes wide open and feet on ground before getting seduced by entry price alone. Those who are speaking will have seen it (and dealt with the fall out of it) all before.

agreed, just saying that anyone prepared to part with 50k should hopefully be switched on enough to check things out in advance of doing a deal, assumption is the mother of all fook ups (who said that) , it might be a lemon or it could be a nice motor at the right price, i'm rained off today so i might make a nuisance of myself on here today ;)

You would think, but we see customers all the time with massive tales of woe where they wanted to save a few quid. Big ticket items as well sadly.

If anyone is buying, just ask for them to ppi it at Graypaul Maserati Brum. Same company, 10 mins away.
Would there be potential for Graypaul to be conflicted?
If so, perhaps Migliore would be a better bet - approx. 15 mins away.

Agree, and add to the fact the country is in lockdown and for how long no one knows...They may want to get cars off the forecourt with all the uncertainty. Maserati's are feckers to sell at the best of time....

Get an inspection and if its a good one who knows it may now be the starting point for all 4 seat Stradale… ;)

For the reasons stated by Matt and Dicky, and as someone who has bought a Strad, I would not bother looking for a 'relatively' small saving on cars like this. We are lucky to have a network of trusted independent specialists such as Richard Grace, AV, Emblem, Matt etc that means we don't need to take unnecessary risks. A neglected car even when fixed is still a neglected car. I have bought a lot of cars and rarely is value at the cheapest version.

Definitely looks like Strads are depreciating further, I thought they’d hold a bit a stronger with the potential for collectability. Maybe they’ll stop at £40k, at which point they’re ridiculous value for money.

Completely agree but we are surmising that it's neglected and may not be.....Suppose we will never know.

I can't find any evidence of deprecation on the 2 door Strads. And hardly any on the 4 door cars either. But they are mileage sensitive, like any vehicle of this sort and price.
This particular car could well be a bargain. Without a PPI, who's to say that in fact the clutch, brakes, tyres, bushes, etc aren't all absolutely fine? You lot, really, stop being so negative!

I 'm not sure we are? Sytner Select is designed to shift px cars that main dealers will not have / do not want to warranty. If this was any good it would be in a Sytner group Maserati dealership. (IMO of course :))

I'm pretty sure you mean 2 or 4 seat Strads.

As a 4 door Strad is a QP GTS isn't it?

I don’t like Sytners but it comes with a warranty and everything else. Looks like it’s at their Tamworth BMW dealers. It might not meet the manufacturers used criteria but it’s still a big dealers. The stuff they don’t want goes to their trade auction site not Sytner Select which covers everything
