Stradale Headlights

Hi all, Maserati have just graciously replaced both Stradale headlights under warranty as condensation was building up in the original pair.
The old ones had a protective film that David put on when the car had its PPF fitted.
Would you bother with a film on the new ones? Anyone ever get chips or had stone damaged headlights on GT’s?

If the PPF is UV protective I’d do it. Everything I’ve had with modern plastic lights that have an upward facing bit seem affected by UV.
