Seller quoted me clutch at 52% and brakes at 40% (not sure whether that’s discs or pads or both)

So be interesting to see what the dealer comes back with but would recommend you get a PPI and/or them validating these values if looking to go ahead

By way of an indication (although this may not be typical), my clutch was changed at 21k miles - it didn't need it but I managed to negotiate it when I bought the car. At my last MD service when it had covered a further 10k miles, the diagnostic was showing the clutch was 9% worn. I have tracked the car a few times so it has had a mixture of hard driving but for the most part, it has enjoyed my super smooth driving, so if the clutch is set up correctly when changed, they can last for many, many miles

Will let you know when they respond. I’m sure this question has been asked many times before but what’s the recommended PPI company to use?

It depends on the locality but with the Centennial being in Kent, I would suggest Aldous & Ed @ AV Engineering

Thanks for the recommendation, I called them earlier and they said the car would need to be inspected at thier premises and they are quite busy but could see if they could fit it in once I had confirmed date. The seller responded and said clutch wear is recently recorded as just after half worn and brakes pads are like new with Maserati stating discs are 40% worn all round on a recent invoice.
