Unfortunately my pads are getting a little too thin.

What is minimum thickness, and had anyone spied a Brembo part number that may be cheaper than the Maserati package?

I don't know the minimum thickness but if they are looking thin, I would suggest that it is time to change.
I had a partially seized caliper piston and my pads wore down to reveal the brass pins which hold the pad material to the backing plates. Luckily, they were caught in time and there was no damage done to the discs but the length of the pins I would say is approximately one third of the pad thickness so be aware!

I can't help with a Brembo part number I'm afraid and they tend to keep this quiet due to their deal with Maserati so good luck & let me know if you find it!

Thanks Stuart. Do you happen to have a picture that shows the thickness of your worn pads?

I'm afraid not, only this one of the brass pins showing themselves.

At least they made those of brass. Steel and you'd be buying some rather expensive disks. I guess I'll just order a set from Eurospares, at least that way when I pop mine off (I'll be diying) I'll have them handy.

Indeed, and if I had driven it much more at the time, I would have scored the CC disc compound without a doubt. Even though the pads are super expensive, I felt like I dodged a bullet!
