Yep - looks to have been built before 1999, as one of the last of the pre-EVO models. Maybe built in 96 or 97, but not registered until 99. Would be easy enough to have the factory confirm the build date. Not that it matters, as it’s a lovely thing, no mater the year of manufacture.I'm looking at the aircon buttons and those wheels look earlier than 99 to me.
Excellent provenance though and good colour combo. Should be plain sailing if someone wanted to do certification.
