Offered yet again. What do we think at auction £40/50k?

Although I like the concept they could have been a bit more adventurous with the colour scheme, and a petrol lump would have so much more appeal.

Shame based its based on a V6. Also, a non-factory produced, or at least endorsed car will not go up too much IMHO. Looks nice, though.

As you say, the colour scheme is so drab... as for that strip on the bonnet!!!

I prefer the touring cars, but if money was no object....

Also, it's not a shooting brake. A shooting brake should have two doors. That's an estate, is what that is.

From directly behind, is the best looking QP VI.
From other viewpoints, not so much.

Just looks wrong to me. All of it.
I’ll guess the reserve won’t be met.

The Germanic styling is, in part, because it utilises a Merc rear end. The rear 1/3 side view apes the CLS shooting brake, which is itself a 5 door estate hiding behind a sexier name, because that is pretty much what it is.

It fails as a recreation of the Bellagio car, which is to die for, because of the Merc tear drop window, the colour scheme and worst the powertrain.

It’s not terrible.
Losing the stripe would make it a lot less terrible. Some great lots in that sale (see other thread)

Well, after I’ve contributed to it

I'm just glad they saw fit to turn it into a hearse, ( Which they have done with many models over the years.) Off in style, given the choice

The Bellagio was beautifully done, and although the VI could be redeemed with a colour change there's still the problem of the oil burner - unless someone dropped in a 3.8!
