Gave my old sports button to Matt... he may still have it somewhere.

Ah just recalled I posted it to another member last year who had broken one of the fixing tangs.

Argh!

I managed to clean up my switches a few weeks back nicely (first pic), then got hold of a can of Hycote as described by @jasst so thought I'd have them out again and protect them.

3 of the 4 are perfect, but somehow the spray has reacted with the sport button. The surface has puckered and inevitably brought some of the black away with it.

So, I'm now on the look-out for a replacement. Also a set of hens' teeth and some rocking horse p00 while we're at it.

:mad::mad:
Wow, that's a real bu**er, I feel for you, never had anything like that happen to mine, guess there must have been some sort of contamination on the sport button?

I guess so... Really weird as the other 3 came up perfectly, really pleased with them. I've reassembled everything now so at least I can drive it while I work out what to do. I'd send it for reconditioning but it'll mean the car's out of action and I'm nervous about posting it overseas in case it goes missing.

@gillis how's the etcher shaping up?

Thanks anyway! Which reminds me @conaero I've got a couple of spare window switches which I must return to you now mine are sorted.

I did but they didn’t come out well . I bought some more . And when these ones go I won’t be buying the rubberised ones again .
