I’ve reached that time as well. Could no longer live with sticky plastic trim. Pink Gunk engine cleaner does a good job.

Yes, thanks Matt for explaining why it's not a product easily obtained and thanks to Grantoonruismo for the make-up remover tip; ordered some and will report back on its effectiveness.

I travel to family in Germany quite regularly. If anyone really wants this stuff I can arrange to have the delivered to DE and then bring them back with me. Next trip will be Christmas. May well pick one up myself.

I have had issues with sticky surfaces and today used neat Dodo Juice on a microfibre. It worked very well although needing quite bit of effort. I had previously tried to clean the centre consul buttons I think with nail varnish remover and basically nearly wrecked them so sent them to Carplastix to redcoat and they made an excellent job of them.

I just used a £5 bottle of rubbing alcohol on eBay and cleaned all the button in my F430 and it work perfectly… 20secs per button did the job just fine.
I just used some of this, tried the Alfa 147 window button unit which had gone sticky. Worked a treat, didn’t take long at all.

It’s a lot of work for mediocre result.
Send them off and get them done properly so they never go sticky again and remain OEM.
I paid £1300 for the entire interior of my 360.

Does that strip the finish and make it shiney?
Well, once it’s gone sticky anything you use will take off the top surface. I guess the trick is then to spray on a matching Matt finish to original. I believe this is what the stickybutton.com guy is good at.

Like I said I tried it first on my GTA window switch unit, and it was fine. My nav surround is just starting to get a bit tacky, although there was a sticky bit around the most used button…;). So I have so far just tried that bit.
