Hi everyone,

I've got a sticky problem on my 348 and was wondering if anyone can recommend a company in the U.K. that specializes in solving this issue.

I've been recommended Sticky RX and Sticky No More but they are both in the U.S.A.

Has anyone used these companies or anyone else and been completely satisfied with the results.

Thanks in advance.

I have seen on Emblem's website that they are now offering this service in the UK

I have a 2004 Aston Vanquish SDP which had exactly the same problem with steering column cowl and some speaker covers in the A posts. Removed and sent to a company called Wicked Coatings. They cleaned and re-coated the parts so they ended up with a smooth matt and non sticky "wellington-boot" finish. Perfect! Contact details as below:

We are overcoming the 'bored in a traffic jam' scenario by carefully cleaning the sticky parts with alcohol wipes - they seem to be doing the job

I think you will find the stickyness comes back when the alcohol dries out. I tried all sorts in increasing strength with no long term solution until white spirit took the surface coating totally off...... whoops. Wicked coatings was not cheap, but perfect as new finish, and as my Aaron is a garage queen only doing a few hundreds miles a year for Concours , then it was worth it. Let me know how u get on
