Looks great, but have to say the center cap now looks kinda out of place. Would it be hard to have the airbag cap retrimmed into alcantara?

I’m not sure that would look good at all. Was always going to be a slight compromise as a re-trim and I hear what you’re saying.

but all I can say is that for me it’s a 100% improvement.

Just dropped my GTS off at AV for new engine mounts, big ticket service, refurbish all alloys, carbon boot spoiler, carbon door mirror caps, X-pipe and removal of steering wheel for flat bottom re-design as per pics in this thread. Hopefully a new and improved car when I get it back

What can I say, Royal’s work is superb. Unbelievable what they can do with a steering wheel.

Totally over the moon with it. Thicker, flattened bottom section. Materials are gorgeous, stitching perfect.

Will get it on the car tomorrow and post some other pics up.

Really like this but not sure if it would look right in a QP. Thoughts anyone?

Are you from around that area then?
No, I’m in Essex but have known Aldous for many many years. He’s also got my 360 there as well at the moment for an engine rebuild/refresh. See separate thread on the Ferrari section on here..
Are you going to the AV X-mas drinks on 5 December?

My retrimmed steering wheel is currently with Parcelforce being delivered back to AV Engineering.
The refurbished alloys are back and as soon as the steering wheel is fitted the car is off to the body shop for a new window trim that was damaged by the previous owner and some new carbon bits. I’ll start a new thread with pics once I’ve picked it up hopefully at the weekend. Got the spacers ready and waiting in my garage too :)

Over the moon with it. Slightly fatter than OEM and just lovely to grip. Made such a difference to the feel. Best upgrade for £235!
