Felonious Crud hit the nail on the head ! Having discussed with ASM/ Rotex el al about supercharging ( my German long time car supplier once offered me the Novitec 646 bhp yellow car ), their advice was there were many inherent problems with supercharging which is why Novitec packed it in very quickly after alleged setbacks. So I listed out all the ways to make my Stradale like my Audi B5RS4, a point and squirt missile. Headers will somewhat complete the performance on this Grigio Granito car with swaybars and maybe FD Drive by wire-although Matt is not sure-- but I am waiting till the restoration of my LHD Riviera Porsche 993RS is completed and sold., before I start tracking down a Stradale in a colour I want to keep. And make it the ultimate performance normally aspirated Stradale . Anyone interested for p/ex I have a beautiful Audi R8 V10 in Sepang Blue if you have a Rosso Magma you want to swop ?!

Given the amount you'll be splurging on the upgrades, surely you could throw in a repaint?

Eb, you are right, but long experience selling Depreciation proof Supercars makes me aware repaints dont reflect very well at resale time.

Certainly the money I spend keeping mine on the road bears no resemblance to it's market value and doesn't prevent the continuing although, relatively shallow, depreciation. I may as well be rolling and smoking the cash!

Sounds like you need to hunt down and acquire a Trofeo, unless you want some creature comforts.

“Stable culling” scares me…

But sometimes it has to happen… My wife told me at 13 cars that my addition had got out of hand and had to be “culled”….

My father-in-law is also also 76 and I am trying to get him to “cull” down to 4 also. His DD plus his GT3 Esprit, R32 GTR and 850i. Although he is becoming lazy at manual gear changes so maybe the need is to go auto and/or DCT..
