It's been a nightmare in the SW recently with all the standing water. I've not dared to take the Maser out, as much out of fear of hydrolocking it as anything else.

Same issue with me, took my 4200 out the other day and yesterday, but still met one or two patches of water I was not sure about, so slowed right down just in case.

Got to be honest I'm a bit of a number plate spotter & still sure it was your plate Brendan so maybe it has been cloned?! Not the most inconspicuous plate to clone though!!

How certain are you on that? I too am a bit of a plate spotter and have a bit of a brain for them.....to the point I, tragically, once listed over 100 plates of mates cars off the top of my head (I know, get a hobby man!!). Lots of these cars have very similar plates, with just one character different. I.e. something like WX53 AMN on one car, the next being WX53 AMM....at a quick glance, they look very familiar!

Due to the rarity, I'd be surprised if it was cloned rather than just very similar. Try checking on HPI for similar plates.
