I bought these for my other half, but I also bought her tickets for Rod Stewart, not realising they were the same day, so the Spice Girls Tickets are for sale.
X2 official platinum tickets for 1st June at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester
For sale at what I paid for them £220 each.
I have email that proves purchase and I'll post them as soon as I receive them or buyer can collect.
Cheers
Phil

For £220 I'd certainly be expecting 'extras'

Nightmare weekend , spice girls followed by rod stuart then getting a bank statement

A few years ago I saw U2 at the Etihad , it sounded like u2 but it could've been a tribute band as they were about 5mm tall from where I was

Never been to a stadium or arena gig after that

Gig size agree. The best gig I ever went to was The Cult in a nightclub in Brighton in circa 1995 at Xmas. They blew the ******* doors and windows out of that venue. Amazing. Can’t remember what I paid but suspect it was about £20

So, £440 for two people to watch (for an hour and a half, and from a distance) a bunch of middle aged women that used to the Spice Girls, try to be the Spice Girls again. Err...

In a Maserati, the journey to/from said concert would be more fun.

Wow that is a whole chunk of change. Never been to many concerts at big venues. In fact only one....the fabulous S Club 7

I was good mates and used to knock around with Rachel Stevens brothers way before she was drafted into the band. Then she started with the band and it took off so they asked me to go with them and support her at Wembley Arena. Was a bit weird 5 of us sitting there next to mums and small children!

Obviously S Club 7 wasn't quite our cups of tea but we supported her all the same. The after show back stage bar was good though and got to meet then have a chat with Lenny Henry. Of course we didn't pay for tickets.

Best venues I ever went to were small venues. I was an IT Manager many many years ago for a broadcast company on Soho Square. The sound manager there was also the sound man for lots of small local bands in Soho. Got to go to loads of short notice impromptu gigs at small venues that were fantastic. Very messy evenings lots of them! All free and even sometimes free beer.

An old mate of mine was resident drummer at Cafe de Paris in London so went with him loads of times on a Thursday eve. Always good to get in for free but shame he was a drummer as helping him break down and load up his kit at the end of the night was often fun a few beers down the line

I miss all those old days a bit. Young free and single. Something I'm far from now. Didn't realise how much fun I had until you rememeber it. Not saying I'm not happy with what I have as I'm of course blessed with decent health and lovely wife/children and life in general. They were just much easier simple times back then.

One on Mrs Zs friends husband is what he calls a roadie for bands, I suspect he is a bit more than that as some bands have delayed tours so that he can work with them, little bands like Rolling Stones, Elton John and Madonna and little tours like 12 month world tours or longer. He once showed me his contact list on his phone, it was like a who's who of the last 40 pus years of music.

He fell off a lighting rig a few years ago on a Madonna concert and was flown home, we were at his house for a couple of hours and in that time Elton John, Phil Collins, Mick Jagger, Peter Townsend and Amy Macdonald rang up to see how he was. The latter also did a private gig in his back garden for his wifes birthday one year, it was stunning and of course free.

This is a generational thing - we are all too old for the Spice Girl revival but my daughters are (embarrassingly) very excited about the gigs and have tickets, my youngest is going twice !! But did not opt for such grand tickets.

Ohhhhh, I’m sorry Rockits but your post reminds me of this
You were hanging out with Rachel Stevens- Brothers.WTF!!!
They were your ticket to “S Club Heaven!!!”
She’s definitely my cup of tea- couldn’t you have just added extra milk or sugar, maybe a large drizzle of honey......everywhere.
You must have been kicking yourself nightly.
Rachel Stevens potentially in the palm of your hands, instead of something else....

LOL....that is one funny film!

We went out for her 18th to Leicester Square to I guess Equinox as it would have bee then. They wouldn't let her in as said she was too young and we all went elsewhere. Funny how times change. Not sure they would turn her away now.

We were quite a close group of friends at the time so dating their sister wouldn't have gone down well. Plus Jason her older brother was pretty handy so wouldn't have ended well. Good times.
