You can get the spec from Maserati I pull say ... Or as you say maybe they dealer it came from.

Correct, any MD should be able to pull of the original spec sheet from their database based on your VIN

Apparently a number of the main dealers don't like or don't know how to screen print the info, Bowskers in Lancs very kindly screen printed and emailed me the image.

American Cars get what is called a birth Certificate and it can make quite a lot of difference for the provenance of vintage yanks if that is present, shame other European manufacturers don't do similar.

Should there be a card or something with the car documents listing out the options fitted - My MB SL320 had this and I spent several hours checking out the code numbers provided. I do have the key code card (and also a post it note for the radio code and bluetooth!) Or do I go back to Maraneello Sales who are stamped as original dealer
which just gives QP Model Year 06, VIN and Engine No 104977

I do know I have the telephone and a CD Changer as well as metallic paint

Give Maserati UK a call on 01753 878 700
Tell them you're wanting to check the specs and give them your VIN and they should tell you everything there and then on the phone. They did for me.

Around 20k private probably......They range from 18k for higher miles to 24kish from dealers/specialists....

Thanks for the info - if you can live with the potential repair costs they are a bargain !

I got a bit of a surprise when I asked bowker about replacing the rubber retaining strap on the petrol cap. They are only supplied with a new cap c£90 ! Time to contact some of the indies or are they likely to be rarer than rocking horse poo?

I also asked about next service cost and the answer was about £1200 ! So I could be looking elsewhere.

MD services are in that ball park I would say depending on what needs doing. Am indie if you have one close by would be lower so worth shopping around, but they're never going to be a cheap car to look after. Well worth it though as I'm sure you'll agree

I would imagine yours would come under paint at customer request......Not on the option list but as with most high end car makers you can have what you want if you are will to pay. Only know of two cars in your colour. Yours and a QP GTS.
