She sounds like one of those weather forecast presenters on This Morning or something.

And the car? The fact they’ve done something like this to a GT is a sad reflection of our society - that is to say that there exists a subset of the populous that have far too much money, and no taste.

They’ll do anything to shift the last few granturismo. What a shame that it’s come to this. I hope they have something fantastic ready to build on the line after the end of the year.

All this one needs is some @Felonious Crud orange wheels.

Orange wheels would improve it. I still have some tins of orange plasti-dip, in case Gray Paul would like to contract me to do some work on it. I ain't cheap but I ain't very good, either. If they like that car as it is they'd be pleased with the result.

I saw one this week, black with gold side stripes, gold badges and a gold letters on black numberplate. In Singapore, though, so it blended in ok with the other crazy rich Asian's lurid cars.

My god, you'd have to be seriously deranged to spend your hard earned cash on that sort thing!

Could Sophie be any more enthusiastic? :p
I'd need some of those Bose noise cancelling headphones to go into that showroom if there's a chance I'd hearing her speak like that. She has a lovely vocal timbre but interminable intonation.

I looked in my rear view mirror the other day to see a matt red Ghibli with the Italian version of the BMW tosser stripes on the grill at that point I decided Maserati’s end was nigh!

That's weird as the first time I saw those stripes they were on the front of a Maserati. I do believe a few on here have or have had the as you say BMW tossed stripes.....What I think is worse are those curb car badge lights that people fit under the doors......If you can't see the curb when getting out you shouldn't be driving.....and why stick a tacky badge on the light. Surely the modern equivalent of fluffy dice.

I agree, I think!

I want to like bentleys, but they just leave me cold. Interior and exterior. They have hardly evolved IMHO and the interior is so analogue. It’s should be Mercedes S class ++++ at that price

Think now reduced to £120k as per a Graypaul note just received highlighting summer savings on 7 available GT's.

Always thought the Bentley Continental interiors where some of the nicest out there to be honest and the new on just seems to improve on that. Lovely place to be....

If you decide to go for it Craig, please remember to give me first dibs on yours!

Good to hear from you Stuart - hope you are well. Delighted with mine still and just renewed the warranty for 2 more years so she is a keeper. Am considering taking it on our annual road-trip later this year with some epic Northern Spanish roads which will really push the car. The TVR has usually been the go-kart of choice around such roads and proved itself incredibly able/suited for years now, so its not an easy call!

The cost of that new GT is still eye-watering (even with the savings) and whilst I don't think the matte is too bad actually, its not for me.
