Any ideas how I can source a Spacesaver for my QPV? She is on 19 wheels but I read some old posts on here suggesting only 18 available - confused? Thinking to have it for long drive around the Highlands where I suspect it could get me out of trouble. Obvs the Mrs won't be coming so plenty bootspace...

I drove mine on 20's without issue but it is a good precaution. Will be 18 with larger profile tyre no doubt (when pumped up). Why not just buy an old 19 with tyre or stick a cheapy on and take a jack.

Duh, you know you're right thanks. With no real need for boot space it's just a spare wheel I need. Better find a place to keep at home though I guess.

You could be cheeky and see if you can borrow one from rs48635 now he has his fezza wheels on. ;) Although they may have been 20s

Presumably if you were going to take a "normal" wheel, it'd be a front one? I suppose that a front one will fit on the back - just a bit narrower?

Happy to help out and have two rear + one front hanging around. No tyres fitted but I do have separate front hanging around. Feel free to pop in an collect on your way north.
Edit - they are 20" but will be fine as temp spare, the rolling diameter has to match.

I've got one kicking about in the shed. If you come up here via Glasgow, you can have it.

Folks what a group! Two offers! Thanks so much and will be in touch once plans confirmed. Will be accompanied by a Ferrari on this trip... am guessing he'll be the one breaking down....

That's not an offer. An offer would have been: I have a wheel, I will put a new tyre on it and if you get a puncture call me anytime night and day and I will come and change it whilst you drink the hot coffee I made for you. Then you carry on your tour whilst I get your original replaced at no cost. I will pop over and switch it back over then and give your car a wash to rid it of Scottish mud and salt whilst you sleep. Love Outrun....
Oh and no doubt Outrun has a fezza wheel too.
