Sound system upgrade AMP and NIT

Hi All,
After some advice again.

I have removed my rear centre arm rest and installing an intergrated bass bin as well as up upgrading my front speakers and amping those up.
I have patched into the signal from the speakers to the amp and it’s causing my new amp to overheat. Assumption is that the OEM amp is driving signal to the new amp and causing it to overheat.

Could anyone tell me if the NIT speaker out is pre amped or is the amp separate to NIT?
Should I be taking signal from the back of the NIT not speaker cables?

Sounds like you have Auditorium 200? If you bypass the amp you should be okay.
There are a couple of threads detailing which connectors need to be joined together.

If you have a 4200 /GS the auditorium amp is in the battery compartment of the boot.

Pull the panel on the right side of the boot and look to the left of the battery.
The amp can be seen and accessed from there.
