Nowt wrong with a Boxster buddy. Reliable great everyday sports car. A very well balanced car.

Nothing wrong with Porsche Boxsters Mark trust me for the money you get the best of everything.
Going out in ours shortly for an early evening jaunt :)

Agreed on both counts. I was hoping for another GTS.

However, that's all gone tits up today!

I guess this is all part of my learning curve with the new stuff I'm doing.
One minute you can be 24 hours from getting paid a stack of cash, the next, nowt!

Back to the drawing board....

Always liked the Evora ever since the Alfa dealer in Maidstone shared their showroom with Lotus.
Went to look at the new (then) 4C, they wouldn't show me the one under the cover for a customer who was collecting later that day so I went and sat in the Evora.
It was lovely, and plenty of room in it for me!

Sorry to hear that my friend. As you say it's all a learning curve.....A GTS is an amazing car and your old one was particularly lovely but the two cars above would still make you smile and be great fun on your fav twisty road and would probably cost half as much to run.

Yep the most usable modern Lotus and even with its BHP under 300 it still shifts and the handling us typical Lotus. My mate has had a yellow one for about 6 years and he said he will never sell.

I did enjoy the Lotus cars that we had at Maserati in New Zealand they looked Stunning and build quality was very good.
The downside for me was getting in and out once in there it felt Great.
The Boxster is far easier to live with.

Yep, getting in and out of Elise and Exige was an art. I used all the Lotus I owned everyday and not sure I could now at my age. I get a bad back washing the car. Evora is much easier as they lowered the sill......Build definatily got better with every model. Lots of fun as well Phil. Colin was always one for a great handling car.

I sat in an Exige years ago. Got in no problem. Took 20 minutes to get out, on my hands and knees!
Not a good look in the showroom!

Was that a Toyota engined Mrk 2 Mark..........My Mk 1 was even worse. They made the opening better on the mark2 but it was still a pain.....Although I put up with it for the looks of my first Exige...A mini racer....

I prefer the red 2.9 as it’s a gen2 version, and I reckon plenty quick enough. Looks a great car that one, nice colour scheme (not the usual silver/grey/black) and nice wheels too.
