My old Maserati UK concours winning GS Spyder currently for sale at £44k, and it is even better now than when I owned it!

Very strange.... Technocloth? I thought all Spyders had full leather?

I'm only going by the australian deliveries... Of which there were 6 in total... But all came with full leather, heated seats, memory seats and cruise control, which it seems some uk delivered models did not?

Always been intrigued by the Rapide but it seems like a bit if a weird package. Big car but small inside especially the rear. Not a big boot and no sports car. Not sure where it fits or what it does well. I think that's been it's problem from new.

I'll bet a secondhand 40k Alfa Giulia QV with its 500+hp is far more accomplished to drive every day than any modern AM ever produced;)

I've driven lots of late AM's, there all talk and no trousers!

All the old stuff though are fantastic!

You've compared

2 seat Sports Coupe (AM Vantage)
vs
4/5 seat Saloon (Giulia QV)

and...

2 seat grand-tourer Jag XKR
vs
super-mini Fiat 500

It's like comparing your favourite steak with your favourite ice-cream, they're both food but quite different. :)

As for yeh comments about Old vs New Aston. Pah. I'd rather drive a car than a museum piece.

That is lovely externally but I couldn't live with those seats - don't mind the tech but the light blue is horrible IMO, I do miss my Spyder
Strangely, that was my reaction when I was first offered it to buy. But in the flesh, particularly with roof down and sun shining, it looks wonderful and I was ultimately convinced. I had the car for nearly four years and did two wonderful European trips in it

I dont recall seeing one with blue roof thus far... Only black roof. Was that an optional extra? Looks nice!
