Looks alright and still cheap.

Adam it wont go for anywhere near that price of £5K more like £10/11K but still a bargain once you have fettled it for around £750 it will owe around £12K still a cheap car for an 08 with under 10K miles

Slightly oddly it doesn't have the "starts and drives" marker that you'd expect it to, and it says 'not actual' after the mileage.

They generally say that sometimes when there is no mileage verification , ie available MOT or service history in the car, but easily checked out if you know how , or by electronic Diag , re the run and drive marker , that can all depend on whether the seller ie the insurance company want to pay the extra to have it checked out and verified as runnng , much of the time they just want to recover their losses as cheap as possible

The car being less than 3 years old doesn't have a current MOT( checkable online ) which would display last current mileage , and yes BMW have their equiverlant to sd2/3 which can show recorded mileage if you know how to access it

the salvage company cant quote a mileage as being fact unless it can quantify it by some means of checking ,

When Insurance companies set up contracts to sell their salvage through outlets such as Copart , they can varying degrees of sale aids , wash clean and brush up , engine check start etc , these all charged to the insurance company and reduce the final payment , some Ins companies just want out with minimum outlay so to speak

And the missus says she like it too, which is a good thing seeing as its for her , Convertible tin tops are few and far between , she loves the red leather

If i get a bit of spare time next week i'll shoot down and have a looksee
