As part of "Project Unbling" on my car and returning to normal I am going to remove the carbon boot spoiler and the carbon protectors along the door sills.

These are all in very good condition. The spoiler costs £1250 from Eurospares, the door sill protectors about £1800 for a pair.

I will sell the spolier for £700ovno and the sill protectors for £1000ovno.

Happy to reduce these prices 20% if you have standard parts in good condition to exchange.

Please let me know. These are genuine Maserati parts.

The spoiler is not a factory part, it was part of a batch manufactured for the forum some time ago.

The spoiler on my car has the same factory sticker in it as the door sills do. I'm pretty sure it was an option for the Gransports.

How do you know? Outrun?

There will be a manufacturing date sticker inside the part when you take it off. It will be the same as what is on the back of the door inserts and door sills if its a factory part.

Do you have the door card inserts, or just the door sills? Happy to partial exchange for the inserts.

Cheers

The trouble is and without delving into the past it can be hard to find the truth.

WhenOutrun sold the car, the advert listed the spoiler in with the factory extras, (between the cruise control and the electro chromatic rear view mirror to be precise.)

One would therefore naturally assume it's the factory item although I understand from the previous owner that there may have been other misleading claims in the advert.

There are no carbon door trims, I have just the sill panels.

Please see the photos below.

Many GS parts are now unobtainable. Prices for those are rising. I based my prices on what Eurospares want and roughly halved them.

Because I installed it as it was my car, which you know fine well. I also supplied the original silver spoiler which was sold separately. Which you know too.

Schooled.

This guy was at it before.

Peter South is Fat Arnie, formerly of this parish. Why he's pretending not to be the same person is beyond me, just causes doubt and major trust issues.

'Peter' - feel free to respond with more fake claims, but you're posting about the car all over Facebook as Arnie du Lard. Btw - is it a write-off again after the recent front-ender??

Yep, twice before Arnie got it. I had a lucky escape. I went to buy it!
Most of the front being mis-alined put me off.

Once before Arnie got it, careful there Capes. It was written off when quite young and then bought by Loz who repaired it and added lots of nice things like AP Brakes and Larini bits etc
I bought it from Loz, spent a bunch of money making it better still, drove it to Modena, enjoyed it and then Arnie bought it. I don't know what's happened since then but as various bits of it are for sale or have been sold, I can only summise that it's not on the road any more.

This is what the original damage that got the insurance category looked like. I know the owner had gap insurance and chose to get full payout and not repair the car.

Maybe it's another car I heard a story about then.

I nearly bought it off of Loz years ago . He had it up for a very reasonable price too and was very honest about its past .
