Wish I worked closer to home as I would be snapping this up and use it daily but 80 mile round trip daily I fear it would break the bank. Although my journey is 80% motorway ..... See trying to talk myself into it and then Libby.....

25mpg on the motorway, and petrol is cheap these days. Go on. You know you want to.

I do Ewan.....but it's not just fuel its all the other bits that cost lots that dampens my enthusiasm. I get 55 miles out of mine so it would double my fuel outlaw and some....Great way to spend it though. If the clutch wasn't so worn I would start plying Liz with her favourite gin and have it on the drive by Saturday

Hi Andy
The subframe pictures above seem to show less than expected rust. Rust protection was applied in 2016 under my ownership.
But it's safer to be sure by getting an inspection done. I am happy if anyone wants to get that done.
Clutch will be replaced as and when it is destroyed. Then I will take it to AV Engineering to get it done.

The QP drives absolutely as it should and I may just convince my Mrs. to keep it a bit longer if a fair amount gets spent on clutch.

I have offered before and am willing to go half way to cover clutch costs which are about £3k.

I'd have it if I was staying in UK cos I think these cars are the best in terms of luxury saloon and proper F1-ish driving, bit being abroad not sure sure I even need one now...

Thanks all. Yes the kids were a bit down as well.
But new things to look forward to.
The new owner is on the forum and will get it in a couple of weeks time.
He has been waiting for it eagerly too but the lockdown has prevented it from reaching him earlier.
I am sure he will be here soon once he has the car.

Great news, you’ll definitely miss the sound of those Larinis. I’m glad I was able to hear them through the Hindhead tunnel.
