Another vote for Bilt Hamber. Rather than mucking about with a proper lance, I just use a garden sprayer, which works every bit as well (according to a review I read). Something like 4% dilution. Works a treat.
Same here on the Bilt Hamber. It does not give as thick a foam as some of the others, but the results are excellent. GC is ceramic coated, and a blast of this, followed by a good rinse is good on all but the filthiest of days.

Yes. I read if does not foam up as much which some people like, but does the job well

Me too, bought a snow foam lance last month, only used it on the van which isn't waxed, had to go over it by hand, very disappointed, hopefully will be better on waxed cars, and as have just bought a DA polisher might even do the van this year.
Not in my experience I'm afraid! Mine has a ceramic coating and it still needs a run over with a mitt to get it properly clean. With the ceramic coating, if it just needs a bit of a spruce then just power washing it gets the worst off.

as a couple of you guys recommend it i may try the bilt hamber stuff as well just to compare to the polar blast, i do use the bilt hamber cavity wax which is top notch gear

Two different version of bilt hamber now. Auto foam is the original version. The latest version is called touch less.

Both do the same job to similar a standard. The newer version has sugar in it.

Having read some of the posts i am not sure what some are expecting from any snow foam product.

They are a pre wash not a replacement for a hand wash. Snow foam contains degreasers and detergents to start breaking down road grime.

If you mix them up in a spray bottle they will do the same job. The benefit of using a foam lance is better coverage and dwell time plus the foam tends to float the excess / loose dirt off the paint as against just sliding down the paint. If you have a ceramic coating or hydrophobic coating on your car the foam will also apply better than from a spray bottle.

The aim of the snow foam is to remove as much dirt as possible with no mitt contact so that the contact part of the wash cycle will have the least amount of dirt that can cause swirl marks on the car.

I think the marketing dept. have been watching too much p**n. Touchless, then touch on. Just need touch up pre-wash, touch cloth wash mitt and touch deep cavity wax

Exactly! Jet Wash, Snow Foam - do not allow to dry, jet wash, hand wash (2 buckets with grit guards), jet wash, towel dry, drive or polish then wax

I use this as does the detailing company who do a lot of high end work:

Picked up 25L after it was mentioned here.
With discount was approx. £42.
Been very happy with it.

I've used the AG polar range and also the BH stuff.
The BH autofoam is by far the best in my experience, and reports that the new BH touch stuff is even better.
Nothing removes 100% and gets the worse off before contact washing.
Last few weeks, with my cars quite well protected, just using autofoam is good enough when within 1 mile of driving the car is dirty again.
I like AG polar wash, spraying on the car rather than a bucket, then just using one bucket of clean water to rinse my wash mit.
I've tried using BH concentrated shampoo through my snow lance, and get the same results as the AG polar wash.
