My role was to look after the paint work and carbon on all 24 cars. I machine polished about 18 of the cars at the dealership to remove marks from the factory
Once at LM, 3 of us prepared all 24 cars after every trip out to the track or photo shoot. We were lucky enough to double up as drivers.....was just fantastic event to be involved in. Have worked with AM Cambridge for around 6yrs, also involved with the Red Arrows and Spitfire handovers.
Just a great team at Cambridge...your in good hands
What an opportunity! I have to say, they looked bloody good. You must know Tim and Sharon pretty well; as you say, great team. Are you based at Cambridge all the time?

I had a mint RD400e in the mid 80s , lost the garage for it so put it up for sale, nobody wanted 70s two strokes, couldn't give it away

Ended up swapping it for a house alarm system

Another of the red Arrows over Silverstone GP
Years ago, when I was current on my license, I came across a Folland Gnat (ex Red Arrows) for sale. Registered and flying in annual. In a very rare moment of clarity and good sense, I didn't buy it.

I think I've just broken the record for the shortest camera ownership

last monday I bought a used Sony RX10 IV as the reviews were good and it was a bargain (obviously) , met a friend at Oulton park saturday who's struggling to use his canon 7Dii and lenses due to a combination of age and weight , he's 80 now

After a few hours of me getting improving results once I started getting used to it he suddenly said, do you want to swap for this, that looks much more use to me , so with a bit of a cash topup by me I'm now the owner of a
Canon 7Dii
Canon 24-105 f/4 L
Canon 70-200 F/4
Sigma 12-24mm
Sigma 50-500 OS
Canon 580EX flash
Peli 1600 case

Just put the 50-500 on the 7Dii and it weighs 3.2kg , i'd forgotten how heavy all this gear was
