As a lurker bar non my observations maybe of little merit but I would like to reinforce those comments about newbies. I too transferred from the other forum back in the day precisely because the other place got a bit irritating. SM has always done well to get the balance right. When I posted recently after a very long absence I was pleased to see that things hadn’t really changed. I wasn’t fazed by a strong view about my thoughts of getting a diesel Ghibli-quite heartened actually because I could understand the viewpoint. And yet people popped up to reassure me that nothing was personal. Made me feel at home. I agree with the comments re photos of naked women. Plenty of superior sites for that as we all know. Mega ****, now there’s a site that does what it says on the tin...er..... I may have digressed from the point of this thread there, sorry. I can see the benefit of the nsfw tag if it’s doable otherwise this is a great site, well created and moderated. Guess I had better start looking for a petrol Ghibli...

Bugger....when I say “express” obviously old women wouldn’t be able to physically do this (I wouldn’t have thought), whereas a young women with recent offspring would...more easily I would have thought.

I’ve been asked by Matt to contribute to this thread from the female perspective. Having thought about it, I find that rather funny. Why should my gender matter? Do I find the pics of girls offensive? No. Besides, there is nothing stopping me from posting a few pics of David Gandy (in his 300SL of course!!)

I haven’t posted on the forum for quite a while but I do log on occasionally when I want a laugh. And if a member wants to post something that they believe may be offensive to some, they or the moderators can put it into the ‘Secret Boys Business’ section.

Just one request? Ban all discussions about cats???

Even though I get mistaken for him all the time (not flattering by the way, have you seen his spaghetti arms!) i would not be happy with that inappropriate and gratuitous use of male flesh appearing “willy nilly” on this forum - my Mrs might see him and I don’t want it being 3!!

That’s crossing the decency border way way too far- Mods?!

This type of unacceptable content should definitely be in the 'Not Suitable For Wives' section - if Mods turn a blind eye.

I don't know the stats but would say with confidence its way below 10% of the users and probably below 5% also.

Ok, thanks everyone for the feedback, its heartening to know that we are not far off what I had hoped.

I have put a list together and sent it to my optimisation guys.

We will look at the skin filter as I am sure there is an add-on that can cope with this.

The google links not working for some users looks like it is an SSL issue so will be sorted.

A full SEO report is being run today and we are checking the Report thread function as it does not appear to be getting through to me or any of the mods.
