I’ve got a whole list of those!

What was it like? I’ve never spoken to someone who’s actually had one before.

It’s a long time since riding it, but the overriding impression was tons of torque. Being a large low reving twin side valve, it would pull like a train in any gear. The bike had a long wheelbase, and steering was really slow. It was massively stable in a straight line, but a lot of input was required when cornering.

Well it’s not going to be like that is it, not enough clearance between bar grips and tank.
Reminds me a bit of the MV Augusta Brutale, trap thumbs time.....

Why...?

Check this out.
Crazy, I've owned some nice bikes like T160 Triumphs and a lovely 250 S1 Kawasaki but if I'd kept all my bikes my Fantic Chopper moped would've been worth the most, lol

Because I bet you can’t turn enough to do a turn in the road, looks to tight to me....
Maybe I’m just used to a wider stance..

Fair enough....Perhaps you missed the bit about it beng a "track only" machine...?

This popped up on my generic social media account. Thought I'd share it on this thread where it might be appreciated more.

Rainey rides again

My first was a 1965 Honda 250 cc CB-72, I could ride it on a provisional licence and 0 to 60 in 10 seconds, which is nothing compared to today but back then compared to a BSA C15 was unbelievable. Top speed and acceleration comparable to a lot of British 500 cc machines. And wow, an electric starter. Now one of the most collectible *** bikes, but unfortunately it went to the scrap heap.

In addition to above, not sure why my abbreviation of Japanese was replaced by ***.
:DI was amusing myself trying to guess at what the the "redacted" might be....
