Late 90's RC45. Nice
Not as successful as the RC30 but did win the 8 hour of Suzuka and the 97 WSB with that Kocinski.. and what a koc he is. Just ask Aaron Slight.

Although I preferred the quarter litre Superbike beater.. The Aprilia RS250. Nothing sexier especially with Jo on it.

2 strokes .... all you need :)
Probably less with Jo. She signed my Micron calendar at the Ally Pally Road racing show. She spelt her name wrong as she was clearly nervous meeting me. Should have asked her out just to see what she would have said. But bottled it and asked for her photo instead...

Inspired by Harry's love of Dakar bikes, I have just bought myself a Yamaha XTZ750 Super Tenere as a project.

Plan is to bring back to it's former glory (which usually ends up with me spending too much money and ending up with a bike that was better than when it left the factory!) and for it to be as close to standard as possible.

Needs a good bit of work to get it to that point but it is good honest starting point. Has done less than 20,000 miles (and virtually zero since 2005), matching numbers original UK bike in the colour scheme I wanted.

When finished (no idea when) it will look like this

That's not for me but love the work that has gone into it.

I had an under braced swinging arm on one of my bikes in early 2000 - worked like a plough when it hit the gravel trap at Stowe. I literally walked away from the bike left stood upright :)
Maybe that's the thinking behind Ducati's aero cooler for the rear tyre.

Slightly less impressive than the machinery above, but due to moving house and a ‘further than walking allows’ commute I’ve just added to the Italian stable.

I found it unloved and in need of TLC but a great little ride. Parts are laughably cheap compared to its big brother.
