How do you tell the difference ?
Well, it’s got NSR on the fairing. Incidentally the NS refers to the cylinder bore lining material. Nikasil Sulfur which had a reputation for cracking. Unless it has any pedigree I think it’s in the 4
K range, maybe. Unless a collector is specifically looking for one, then it’s maybe a bit more.

Ooh that’s lovely. I stopped at our local Greggs last year and there was one outside I was absolutely gobsmacked.

There have been many posts this weekend about bravery and taking your life into your hands as far as racing is concerned. Unless you have witnessed the IOM TT, MGP plus many other road races in Ireland you haven't seen anything.

Holy Moly!!!!

Not often I stop dead in my tracks trawling auction sites but if I could find a way of funding this:

F1 Norton

Oh boy that would scratch a big itch!
My guess is that you’ll need £30k at least to secure that. I agree that it’s lovely.

Or you could build your own like I did and save a few quid.

Have come across this here on my door step in a guys kitchen having a cuppa after making some brake pipes for him.
Any idea of a value.
It's a 96 Honda RS 250 Race Bike.
Up and running just sitting there.
Just trying to work out if I can earn a few shillings.View attachment 74273
That's a NSR125, only one exhaust.

RS were non-factory racers, NSR were. RC are four strokes 750s. PC were 600. SC 1000.

I don't have a full bike license but getting one isn't difficult

It wasn't difficult in 1978 , my test was being watched by a man in a brown suit as I rode round the block

He pulled me in and told me he'd be somewhere on the test route on my next lap , I shall step to the kerb and hold my hand up for you to complete the emergency stop part of the test

I came round the corner and he was hiding behind a postbox

Next week a mate was taking his test at lunchtime so a few of us rocked up to take the ****

He came past us on lap one, sat bolt upright doing 29mph , saw us and called us wankers

Next lap he came past us doing a 200 yard wheelie and still passed

I would swap my teenage years in the 70s for a pile of playstations

On the money there @Wack61 being a teenager in the 70's was the best time ever what freedom.
Got my motorcycle licence in Saudi Arabia just had to get a blood test for my blood group to get the licence and straight out on my nice new Suzuki GS 550E.

I don't ride motorbikes never have but do have a hankering for a Ducati 748R (always have preferably in yellow) but an earlier SP or SPS would tick the boxes too, maybe when the man cave is built I will have some space

beautiful shape - if a little underpowered and upstaged by it’s brother the iconic 916
If you have never ridden one you don’t know what you missed
I do want a Ducati, the 1198 is currently on my ‘I want for Xmas’ list

Don't care about the power it would still terrify me, its just the looks I don't think it has ever been better and the 916 is everyone's choice and I like to be different

Always wanted one. Had a Monster. Sadly just about any sports bike is a no-no in terms of size alone.
