Hi all, I have my Sports Maserati front big brake kit available for sale as I have now sold my Granturismo with the standard brakes on. The kit specs are as follows:
  • 380mm fully floating C-hook grooved disks
  • Anodised brackets to space out the calipers and mounting bolts and washers
  • Stoptech Sport brake pads
The disks and pads have only done around 3k miles maximum so are in great condition (see photos attached below).

I am looking for £750 for the above which is a good saving over the new price and also compared to OEM disk and pad prices. Ideally that is a collected price (I live in Harpenden, Herts) but get in contact if you are interested and we can discuss logistics etc.

Thanks, Ross

Sure, these were fitted to my 2015 Granturismo Sport 4.7 with the Brembo 6 pots but definitely worth double checking with @Zep first to confirm all will be good re fitment.

Pretty sure they are the same set up but I have messaged him. I can possibly collect Friday pm.

They are the same, the discs on the Granturismo Sport are drilled and grooved so a different part number, but the dimensions are the same.

Have I missed something but have you not just replaced one set of disks with another of the same size?

These are bigger and come with a caliper spacer. There is an option to have standard size too. You will have to check with Zep if they fit a 4.2 Auto QP as they run a smaller disc and 4 pot not 6 pot caliper from memory.

As I understand it, the upright is the same, so retrofitting 6 pots and bigger discs is possible, but obviously a bit pricier. Bigger discs with the std calipers would be possible but the adapter would be a lot more complicated due to the calipers being lug mounted. But it can be done if you want.

Plenty of 6 pots around 2nd hand too.

Thanks for the responses. Not sure bigger disks without bigger calipres makes sense, even if it's posible.

I came hooning round a corner the other day, on a tight B road, taking the long way to the petrol station, as you do, and found myself staring at the back end of an AA van stopped on the road, looming larger rapidly. While stomping on the brakes eventually had the desired effect of pancake avoidance, there really wasn't any neck snapping bite which would have been more reassuring. A small triangle in the road would have been nice!

At least it's got 4 pots front and rear, unlike the ealier cars with had 2 pots at the rear I believe.

The Citroen C3 I was driving last week had more bite, but a smaller and lighter car I suppose.
