Great work, thanks. I'll give Paul a call tomorrow and hopefully either get booked in over the weekend if he's free, failing that, sometime next week

Conaero...Any chance you can email the install instructions so that I can review them before the parts arrive?

For copyright reasons I will not be suppling the installation instructions as a pdf or in an electronic format. This will be a digitally printed 24pp brochure.

I've done weeks of work with detailed wiring schematics and pin out drawings you see.

Hi ,
I'm a very new member but reading for about a year. Please could you add me to the reserve list for the SM Apple carplay/android auto. I just need a Maserati garage in NE Midlands to sort this mess out first, they apparently upgraded the Sat Nav CD. Thank you for all your hard work. A.wj

Hi everyone!

First post here, and from what I've seen, it looks like I'll be joining a great community!

I bought my 2012 GranTurismo S on the 18th of last month, and have been trying to find a backup cam/android auto solution ever since. The closest thing I've seen was the NaviPlus kits, but sounds like a nightmare of an install.

With that said, I'd like to be added to the Reserve List/Batch 2 in May.

Thanks, and looking forward to our discussions in the future!

I will likely want to join the second list as well. My problem is I’m located in the US and I’m a bit concerned about finding a competent installer who won’t charge me an arm and a leg. Does anyone know of somehow who has done the install in the US preferably in the NY metro area?

Went up to see Zep on Friday and we got his install done in a day. It all went really well but then after testing and then refitting we had no image on the screen. Zep had bent the pins to the LCD so it all had to come out again which was frustrating. If I did it again, it would take 6hrs if there were no issues. This did no include installing the camera, that would be another half day and left that for him to do.

I met with Paul and handed over the first kit that is going in this week. All being well, the kits will be shipped when I get back off holiday, last week of April.

With regards to warranty and cutting into the loom, Paul has developed a lead that piggy backs into the head unit and you simple connect it all up, no cutting. He wants only about £25 for these so I would advise that you ask him for this during the install.

I may ship them with the next kits if there is enough interest at cost price.

I called Paul on Friday to arrange an install date, he was busy and said he'd call back but never did. I'll try him again later today if I get a minute to myself

A pedant writes: Surely copyright applies exactly the same to a PDF as a Printed Brochure? Do you mean 'to (slightly) discourage unauthorised circulation'?

He has your kit and yes, phone is the only way to get him. He is a lovely chap but yes is flat out at the moment so keep trying, he does answer his phone.

I'm very interested in the lead. Is there any way that I can get one included with the shipment? If so, let me know what it costs and I'll PayPal the money to you.

From what I gathered, looks like there's only been 2 folks from NA that made it in the first batch. The guy from Canada would likely be your best resource at the moment - assuming he's from Toronto or somewhere in the region.

I would definitely be interested in the lead as well. Hoping to get added to the Reserve/Batch 2 List soon

I'm happy to pay the extra £25 to enable the install to be kept to factory fit as much as possible (i.e. a removable harness in lieu of cutting the original wires).
