I am unsure at this stage. Its all on the connector going into the unit. If its different from the OEM, then no it wont.
Is the Bose not just amps and speakers? The facelift headunits look the same in standard and Bose formats from memory.

Ok the Bose system may be a goer. The physical screen is just that....a screen and are all the same. The box that drives it is the unit below it.

So, the video wires will plug into the screen and the only other thing to do is tap into two wires from the drive box which are the can hi and low wires.

I can’t see why the system would be different but I need someone to remove their Bose unit via the simple 2 release keys on the front, disconnect it and photograph the large block connector that goes in the back.

I don’t feel this will be any issue now.

The reason I am thinking it will work with the BOSE is that the screens are all the same so that is no issue and all you have to do is tap the Canbus hi and low wires which both models will have:

Screen connector (all the same)

Canbus connector (will be the same I recon) If it is a different connector (arnt they all Euro standard) all you will have to do is identify the Canbus wires, which will be the same colour at the very least.

Ive spoke to Paul at Prestige Installs and he will be offering a mobile service for those who don't want to attempt it themselves for
£200 - CarPlay and camera
£150 - CarPlay only

Sensible mileage charge for those out of Hertfordshire area.

Can you listen to the radio or CD player whilst viewing the SatNav via CarPlay (Waze / Apple Maps / Google Maps)?

Does the phone have to be wired to the system or can it be connected wirelessly?

Does it need a microphone and if so, can the factory one be used?

Can it be used without saying “Hey Siri”? Is there only me that doesn’t want to say that?

Did you have to drill the bumper to fit the camera? Is there an option to fit it under the release lip?

So the answer for mine is

1. No - effectively there is only one sound output in use - so can listen to a CD and have waze going but without sound...

2 you can connect via Bluetooth but I prefer to cable mine and store in the phone in the arm rest - that way the phone is fully charged on arrival

3 Separate mic on mine - it’s v discrete

4 You can push a button on the touchscreen to engage Siri - so you can avoid saying Hey Siri if it really bugs you...

5 My rear camera was fixed without drilling next to the electronic boot lid opener
